Bob Mothershead has been an integral part of the success I have been able to achieve over a 30 year long career as practicing reconstructive/cosmetic dentist in the Los Angeles area. I have had the privilege of working with Bob Mothershead and Robin Janowski for the past 12 years. In this time they have designed and built 5 offices for me and recently expanded one of them. I became acquainted with Robert Mothershead in 2008 when I was building my new dental office in Apple Valley. Robert was instrumental in the planning of my facility. Dental offices have many design characteristic’s that are not common outside of dentistry. Designing a dental office is a very specialized task. Poor planning and subsequent poor execution can lead to persistent problems that can dramatically impact office activities. Robert, in his capacity as an equipment specialist of Patterson Dental, was there for me every step of the way, providing details on equipment and providing design recommendations that improved office workflow, a benefit I enjoy to this day. He took the time to explain the differences between various pieces of equipment. Robert’s product knowledge is vast, and was instrumental in my selection of the equipment in my office. We would meet weekly, sometimes more frequently, to discuss the progress of the facility while it was under construction. In addition to this, he made himself available for those late night and weekend, one off questions that would come up. He made it clear that he cared about my business and my success, not just talk of it, but action that demonstrated it. Robert provided a wealth of knowledge and is still helping me today as I am building a second office in California City with his assistance.
Robert’s professionalism was mixed with a genuine rapport with not only me, but with my staff as well. Our relationship has become more than random professional acquaintance as I have come to consider Robert a very close friend.
